Great American-made Michigan pattern axe from Merit. Merit was one of the brands sold by Sears in the mid-1900's. This 3# Michigan pattern axe head hung on a 31" Amish-turned, hickory handle will make short work of your chores around the woodlot. Nice "Merit Forged Steel" stamp on the head too.
Comes with a custom, Maine-made leather sheath.
